Hot Tamale Virtual 5K
WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL HOT TAMALE 5K? The Virtual Hot Tamale 5K is the ultimate themed race that can be accomplished at any location! You can run outside, walk or use a treadmill while wearing your Hot Tamale swag. You can run anywhere, anytime by yourself or with a group via Zoom (Be creative with social distancing)! The goal is to just get up, run and have a fun time!
Race Charity
Run For Central America is the official charity partner of the 2020 Hot Tamale 5K! During normal times, Central America struggles with some of the highest rates of hunger and insecurity in the world. Now during lock down, most families can’t work and widespread hunger and other challenges are greater than ever. Run to provide food, job opportunities and most of all hope!
All Race Proceeds will go directly to Run For Central America!

How Does A Virtual Race Work?
VIRTUAL – HOW IT WORKS:
STEP 1: Register HERE
STEP 2: Receive your swag via USPS (Shipping Date: Starts June 1st)
STEP 3: Get up, Run or Walk the 5K!
STEP 4: Wear your medal proudly and post your photos on Instagram and Facebook -make sure to tag us @runforcentralamerica!
STEP 5: Don’t forget to HAVE FUN and enjoy the satisfaction of your success and being a part of the Hot Tamale Virtual 5K!
